HA Docker Backup
HA Docker Backup is a personal, owner-operated backup workflow for a home automation server. It creates archives of selected Docker service configuration and data (such as Zigbee2MQTT, Mosquitto, Matter Server and Docker Compose) and uses rclone with Google Drive API to store and manage those backup files in the owner's Google Drive account.
Why Google Drive access is requested
Google Drive access is used only to create, upload, list, verify and rotate backup files created by the workflow. The requested drive.file permission restricts access to files the app creates or that are explicitly opened with the app. The utility does not provide access to other people.
Data and privacy
Backup archives can contain home automation configuration, device identifiers and access credentials. They are stored only on the owner's devices and in the owner's Google Drive account. There is no public file listing or sharing service.
